Bromstens IK was one of 69 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Vintercupen 2017. They participated with one team in P04-Lätt/Medel.

In addition to Bromstens IK, 15 other teams played in P04-Lätt/Medel. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Bromstens IK could be found in Group 3 together with FC Djursholm 2, Sollentuna FK Sportfältet and Karlbergs BK Gul-Vit Utd.

Bromstens IK made it to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Hanvikens SK, which they won with 1-0. Thereby Bromstens IK won the entire Slutspel in P04-Lätt/Medel during Vintercupen 2017.

Bromstens comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 9 km from Djursholm, where Vintercupen takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 57 additional clubs participating during Vintercupen 2017 (Among others: Tullinge TP, Sollentuna FK Sportfältet, Hammarby IF FF, Apollon Solna FK, Mälarhöjdens IK Svart, IFK Lidingö FK 3, Spånga IS FK, IFK Haninge 2, FC Boo 1 and IFK Lidingö FK 11).
