In addition to the two Vasastan teams, 6 other teams played in P04-Svår/Extra svår. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Vasastan BK Blå could be found in Group 1 together with Kista SC, FC Djursholm 1 and IFK Haninge 2.
Vasastan BK Blå made it to Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against FC Djursholm 1 with 2-4. Thereby Vasastan BK Blå finished second in P04-S/ES Slutspel during Vintercupen 2017. Vasastan BK also participated in P04-Svår/Extra svår during Vintercupen 2016.
